The city has made a few clarifications on how to do PtP - see the How To section. Also, now that several PtPs have been repainted, we've incorporated new learnings into all the tip sheets. To see all the new project locations, click here and also see new photos in the Gallery.
Saturday October 20th, 2007 turned out to be a perfectly glorious day for the Pals of Hamline Park and volunteers to paint games and giant elephant and dino footprints on the paths of Hamline Park. Park users, die-hard paint the pavement converts, and other volunteers painted playful images and dedicated a peace pole at the neighborhood park on Snelling and Thomas. In the spring, the Pals hope to install a tot lot...and perhaps paint even more! Map>>

The Van Buren/Pascal repainting day was held on June 9, 2007, and was a great gathering of neighbors and friends of the circle.
Painting a second coat of paint went much faster than the
first time, and we used significantly less paint than before. Our day
was threatened with a surrounding storm, which came less than an hour
after we had finished painting. A great benefit of using traffic
marking paint is that is dries very quickly and the mural was not
compromised by the torrents of water which came. Unfortunately, our
community circus was rained out, but we look forward to having it at National Night Out.
Mayor Chris Coleman visits the Pascal & Van Buren repainting.
